What are your store hours?

Summer Hours Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. & Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.; Winter Hours Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

 

Where are you located?

Our Howell store is located at 120 Lucy Road, Howell, MI 48843. We are on the south side of Grand River, between Golf Club Road and S National Street.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Cash, and personal or business checks. We also offer convenient online payments.

 

When is payment due?

We require a 25% non-refundable deposit for any equipment reservations with the remaining balance due at delivery.

 

Do I need a special license of certification to use the bigger equipment like Skid steers, Mini Excavators?

No, the Skid steers and Mini Excavators do not require certification or licensing.  Our knowledgeable staff can teach you basic techniques for this equipment in 5 to 10 minutes.

 

What happens if the equipment does not function properly?

Call our office immediately and let our staff know what type of problem you are experiencing. We will repair or replace the equipment as quickly as possible so that you can get back to your project.

 

Can I make a reservation for equipment?

Yes! We encourage customers to make reservations in order to ensure that the equipment is available when you need it. We do require a 25% non-refundable deposit to make a reservation.

 

What is the Damage Waiver?

Damage Waiver is a non-refundable fee that is charged to all customers that releases them from liability for certain types of damage to the rented equipment.  It is not a warranty or insurance but more of an assurance that if certain damages occur while you are renting then you will not be held responsible for those damages.

 

What types of damage is NOT covered by the damage waiver?

Damage to equipment due to improper use, negligence, or neglect.  Damage due to exceeding the rated capacity of equipment.  Damage to tires, tracks, tubes, and wheels regardless of cause.  Damage from unloading, loading, or transporting equipment.  Damage exceeding $500 in replacement cost.

 

Is the Damage Waiver mandatory?

Yes, the damage waiver is mandatory on all equipment.  However, the damage waiver can be waived if the customer maintains a current certificate of insurance that provides coverage for “Construction Rental Equipment” and names LoRea Rents, LLC as an additional insured and loss payee.

 

How long can I rent your equipment for?

Most of our equipment can be rented on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. A daily rental includes 8 hours of usage, a weekly rental includes 40 hours, and a monthly rental allows for 160 hours.

 

What if I go over my allotted hours on a machine?

Any additional hours that you may use will be charged when you return the equipment. Most of our equipment is billed at $50 per additional hour.

 

Do I have to replace the fuel in the equipment?

Yes, otherwise we charge per gallon to refuel the machine.

 

Do I have to clean the equipment before returning it?

Yes, we expect that our equipment will be returned in the same condition that it was delivered in. If the equipment is returned dirty, a cleaning fee will be assessed.
